My first official sky run in my new sky linkshell, Defiance. Other than the couple deaths I took, I had a blast. We were trying to take down Zipacna, but we all wiped. It was a learning experience for all of us. Next time we go in, we'll be better organized. I don't know when the next run will be, I'll let you all know when that happens. On the upside of the run, I managed to get another Red Mage Testimony so I can fight Maat for the fourth time. I'll party first to get a lot of my experience points back prior to fighting him.

Other things I've done since I last posted have been that Black Mage is now level 20. I have the ability to warp now. My teleporting service is off the ground now. In a days time, I managed to make close to 60,000 gils. I don't think that's all that bad considering teleports average about 1.5k per teleport. I have a lot more teleporting to do if I ever want to get some better gear to fight Maat with. I may settle for something like getting a Demon's Ring and finding some way to get my hands on an Elemental Torque. Getting an Elemental Torque will be difficult. It costs about 200k gils at the auction house and the only other way to obtain one is by doing a BCNM. I may see if I can get some people to help me get that... don't know though. It's a level 60 BCNM.

StarLight has grown into an adolescent. It looks like she has white tips as feathers so I am guessing that means she'll stay yellow in color. She's in the adolescent stage for 10 days, so I'm not sure. I hope she turns either Blue, Red, or Green... maybe if I'm lucky, even Black. Any of those colors would be cool. She's turning out quite well. There are a couple stories I'm working on obtaining so I can try to get her to learn Burrow and Bore. If I can get her to learn those, I will have an awesome time going out to dig with her. If I can get her to dig up elemental ores for me, I can sell those for a nice amount of gils. Below is what the elemental ores are going for currently on Asura:

• Wind Ore - 180k
• Earth Ore - 150k
• Lightning Ore - 150k
• Water Ore - 140k
• Light Ore - 200k
• Dark Ore - 100k

So, as you can see, I can really bring in some gils selling those. As long as I keep taking StarLight on those walks, I have an excellent chance with meeting up with the people I need to encounter to give me the stories I need to read to StarLight. I'll be checking on her in a few hours to feed her and walk her. She really enjoys my company. It's really nice seeing her happy. Part of me wishes I had taken this much care of ChocolatCarmel. I probably would have had two excellent female chocobos. I'll try and get some pictures of StarLight up soon.

Well, I'm still a bit exhausted from sky. I'm going to lie back down and dream of my baby, Moonna. I love you sweetie!

Today I took part in my first garrison ever. It was somewhat fun. I get more excited over beseiged, but it was okay. I probably would have had some more fun if I had gotten an item or two to sell. I am really needing some gil. No one is buying any of my herb paste I have sitting in my bazaar. Heck for the gold smithers out there, my copper ingots are still sitting there too. Shows how bad I am at selling things. I really suck at it. I had crafted them hoping to make some gil. They aren't doing me any good sitting in my bazaar. I may feed some to Star Light to see what they do, I don't know yet though.

Speaking of Star Light. She's doing excellent. Every day I've taken her out for a while she's found me one or two items. I guess this is appreciation for taking such wonderful care of her. Chocolat Carmel didn't do that sort of thing for me. I guess that was because I was just so new at it, I didn't exactly know what I was doing. I'll be checking on Star Light in a few hours to see how she is doing and to feed her. It's close to feeding time. I'll keep you all posted if any of her stats change at all. I'm hoping they do.

Later today, I'll probably work on my present for Moonna's and my one month anniversary of being together. Things are going well between (from what I can tell anyway) us. Being a guy, I could be blind to things not going so well. I shudder to think that though. I would really hate to go through another tough breakup like I did with Careless. It really gets me down and I find myself confining myself to my Mog House until I have the courage to face the world again. I missed Moonna all day yesterday. Seems that when I decided to go out adventuring, she decided to head in. Never had a chance to talk or be with her.

In other good news, I have leveled my Black Mage job to level 12. I have acquired a new Black Magic spell, Drain. At this point in time, I'm working myself towards level 17 so I can learn Warp. I don't know if I'll go past that or not. If I do decide to go farther, it would be to obtain Tractor and Escape. Those would be about the only other two spells that would interest me when I'm subbing Black Mage as a sub job to my main, Red Mage. As I have gone about leveling low level jobs again, I may work on Blue Mage again and get that up to 37 for when I finally get Red Mage up to 75. I have more confidence now to try and work on obtaining some spells from those mobs.

I'm going to cut my entry short tonight, if you can even call this short. Moonna, honey, if you are reading this, I miss you and love you. I'll be looking for you about Vana'diel.

Wow, quite an experience in itself, Kamp Kweh. Getting in a party with other chocobo owners and seeing everyone's stats and having my choco interact with other choco's. Her visit today she gained a boost in strength from one of the other chocobos. Her affection towards me is at its peak. I believe tomorrow she will have seven days straight of listening to music and I'll continue to keep her affection high.  She is really loving me. Today on one of our short walks, she found me another item. This one wasn't so great, but it's the thought that counts. She found me a pebble today. Star Light has really been a blessing to me and I hope she turns out to be an awesome chocobo.

Now, I think I'll head out to La Theine Plateau and try my luck at a game with her.

I have more information about my beautiful chocobo, Star Light. It is now day six of taking care of her and I have obtained a couple stories to read to her. I have Story of a Diligent Chocobo, which will allow her to eventually learn the ability Treasure Hunter, and Story of an Impatient Chocobo which will teach her the ability of Gallop.

She loves eating Azouph greens as they are a slightly sour-tasting green.

During one of our walks in East Ronfaure, she happened to find a Bronze Axe and gave it to me. This made me so proud. I hope she finds more items in future walks we take.

For me to receive the Story of a Diligent Chocobo, I found out who the owner of the lost chick was. It was one of the town's info guides, Luthiaque.

I am hoping to get Star Light's disernment up to average fairly quickly so she can learn a couple traits. I would love for her to learn Bore and Burrow. I will then mate her up with a chocobo that has very good speed to hopefully have an outcome of a chocobo that has excellent digging abilities as well as excellent speed.

Later on, I'm looking forward to visiting Kamp Kweh.

Well, this update isn't going to be very big. Just a small little blurb. I have been waiting for a new day to come around for Star Light and decided to take her on a short walk. It so happens that Star Light came upon a lost chocobo. Poor thing, I have to find it's owner. Right now, all I know is that they are an Elvaan Male that has a name that begins with the letter L. Their job could be Town Information Guide or Package Deliverer. As soon as I figure that out, I'll get a story to read to my girl, Story of a Diligent Chocobo.
